Many flights to Portuguese airports are affected by Hurricane Leslie, which might become the worst storm the country has experienced in 150 years, on Sunday.
The western European country has issued an urgent red alert, warning its citizens of enormous damage Leslie is expected to cause.
Several airlines, most notably the country’s flag carrier TAP, have cancelled numerous flights to and from Portugal’s three main airports, Lisbon, Porto and Faro.
