Aegean Airlines has unveiled its new livery during an event in Athens on Wednesday. The new design was presented on an Airbus A320neo.
A total of three brand new A320neo jets already wear the new colour scheme. The aircraft have been delivered to the airline in December and January, and are expected to enter service in mid-February. In total, Aegean will receive 46 A320neo family aircraft. This includes both A320neo and A321neo jets.
Aegean’s new livery features a blue tail, with the colour going all the way down to the fuselage. Most of the fuselage is painted in white, with blue Aegean titles and blue engines. The general scheme is very similar to what many other airlines are using as a livery. One of several recent examples for this layout is the new Aer Lingus design that was unveiled about one year ago.
The Greek flag-carrier currently operates an all-Airbus fleet of A319, A320 and A321 aircraft. Furthermore, ATR 72 and Dash 8 turboprop aircraft are operated by its regional subsidiary Olympic Airways.
