China Airlines’ subsidiary Mandarin Airlines signed a firm order with ATR for the purchase of six additional ATR 72-600. Deliveries of the new order are due to start at the end of this year and will run through 2025.
Mandarin Airlines already operates nine ATR 72-600 on domestic routes throughout Taiwan, a point which was also emphasized by the airline’s Chairman Kao Shing-Hwang: “Expanding our ATR fleet will enable us to add capacity on existing routes and create new services to continue stimulating the local economy and tourism across Taiwan with the lowest emission regional aircraft.”
