German carrier Lufthansa has taken delivery of its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
The new aircraft, registered as D-ABPA, arrived in Frankfurt on Tuesday at around 10:30 local time.

The Lufthansa Group currently has 32 firm orders for the Boeing 787 jet and 20 orders for the 777-9 passenger airplane. Most recently, the company also placed a firm order for seven of the new 777-8 freighter aircraft.
