Leasing giant Avolon and Boeing confirmed a previous agreement to purchase 40 additional Boeing 737 Max 8 at the Paris Air Show. Avolon expects these aircraft to deliver near the end of the decade, with deliveries running until 2030.
Andy Cronin, Avolon CEO, highlighted the relationship between his company and Boeing and how the incremental order underlines their belief in the Boeing 737 Max family. Although the agreement only covers the Max 8, Avolon has the option to convert parts of the order into other variants of the family.
