Leasing company 777 Partners has announced an order for up to 66 Boeing 737 Max 8 and Max 8-200 aircraft.
777 Partners is a Miami based investment group and leasing company that caters to the ultra-low-cost (ULC) airline market. The group previously ordered 30 737 Max airliners in December 2021, which brought their total to 68. Today’s show opening announcement therefore brings the airlines potential commitment to Boeing’s most popular jet to 134, as the 737 Max gains some more traction after a slump as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and the types international grounding following 2 fatal crashes in 2019.
