Air Arabia celebrates 15 years of operations, unveils new livery

Air Arabia, a Sharjah-based low-cost carrier (LCC), unveiled a new brand identity including a new livery and aircraft interior. The unveiling took place during a launch ceremony at Sharjah International Airport while celebrating its 15th anniversary of operations.

The new livery still includes the airline’s symbol, a seagull. Air Arabia is convinced that the new livery reflects the carrier’s growth and outlook while staying true to its original design.

In 2003, the carrier commenced operations as the first low-cost airline in the Arab world. Besides the Sharjah-based Air Arabia, there are also subsidiaries in Egypt, Morocco and formerly Jordan. In total, the current fleet consists of more than 50 Airbus A320 aircraft. Furthermore, Air Arabia signed a lease agreement for six Airbus A321neo Long Range aircraft in 2017.
