EasyJet has placed an order for 17 additional Airbus A320neo aircraft.
The announced new airplanes are a conversion of existing purchase options into firm orders.
EasyJet now has a total of 147 NEO (new engine option) family aircraft on order (117 A320neo and 30 A321neo). The airline already operates 17 A320neo and three A321neo.
With more than 300 active airplanes, the British low-cost carrier is the largest operator of Airbus single isle aircraft in the world. It currently flies A319, A320 as well as the NEO aircraft mentioned above.
