Canadian leisure airline Air Transat has announced that it will start a new service between Montréal and New Orleans on November 3, 2019. Montréal will be the second Canadian destination to be served from New Orleans International Airport in the upcoming schedule.
The new connection between the two cities will be operated two times per week. Air Transat plans to deploy Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the route.
In addition to Montréal, the Canadian flag carrier Air Canada operates a daily service from Toronto to the city in Louisiana. Other international destinations of New Orleans’ route portfolio include Panama City, Frankfurt and London.
