Japan Airlines announces first Airbus A350 routes

Japan Airlines (JAL) has published its first Airbus A350 routes on Thursday. The carrier’s first Airbus A350 wide-body jet will enter service on September 1, 2019, on flights between Tokyo Haneda and Fukuoka airport.

The Japanese airline will gradually expand its A350 operations on services between Tokyo Haneda and Sapporo, Okinawa and Osaka.

JAL’s A350 aircraft features a three-class configuration with a total of 369 seats. Additional details for cabin specifications will be unveiled in June 2019, the airline announced in a statement. Besides, the first three A350 jets will wear a special “Airbus A350” logo.

Japan Airlines currently operates an all-Boeing fleet of Boeing 737, 767, 777 and 787 Dreamliner aircraft. Additionally, the airline has ordered Airbus A350-900s and Airbus A350-1000s, as well as Mitsubishi Regional Jets.
