European low-cost carrier EasyJet excercised purchase rights for twelve additional Airbus A320neo aircraft.
The airline is the largest European customer of the A320neo aircraft type. In total, EasyJet ordered 159 A320neo family jets. 33 Airbus A320neo and six A321neo aircraft have already been delivered to the airline.
Besides the A320neo family airplanes, EasyJet operates an all-Airbus fleet of A319 and A320ceo aircraft. Together with its subsidiaries EasyJet Switzerland and EasyJet Europe, the carrier currently has 333 Airbus aircraft in its fleet.
