Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier Flynas has signed a firm order for ten Airbus A321XLR aircraft. The order was announced during the Dubai Airshow 2019.
The newly ordered A321XLRs will join the airline’s existing Airbus fleet of A319, A320ceo and A320neo. Its first Airbus A320neo jet was delivered in November last year.
At the third day of the Dubai Airshow 2019, the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus also presented several other order news, including a firm order from lessor GECAS (which includes the A321XLR as well), an additional twelve A32oneos signed by EasyJet, and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Air Senegal for eight Airbus A220s.
Furthermore, Emirates signed a purchase agreement for 50 Airbus A350-900 jets at the second day of the Dubai Airshow 2019, and Air Arabia ordered 120 Airbus A320neo family aircraft.
